Lately, I’ve been doing some practice quilts to build my skills, but I always pick fabrics with a person in mind. When a good friend of mine told me about a new cancer diagnosis in their family, I knew I wanted to do something special for the person who was beginning to fight this ugly disease. I wanted to incorporate lavender (main ribbon color for cancer) and dragonflies (represents finding the positive in all situations) and was able to find fabric that fit both perfectly 
My friends are thrilled and I’m just happy I could show them my love and support in the way I know how.
